Steve Andrews, Owner/Operator, has spent 24 plus years working in
various medical capacities in the Department of National Defence. My experiences
have allowed me to develop and master many medical skills. Initially, as an Army
paratrooper medic, I found great satisfaction in providing medical treatment in
a field environment. I then took flight as an Air med-evac trained medic with
a Tactical Helicopter Squadron and soon realized that the air element was my true
destiny.
Naturally, looking for that next challenge,
the elite and highly skilled Search and Rescue Technician trade attracted me.
Activities such as Parachuting, mountain rescue, survival & bush lore skills,
Scuba diving, ground search and that ultimate skill Para-medicine.
As
a military paramedic, my duty has allowed me to provide frontline pre-hospital
medical services throughout Canadas most beautiful and hostile environs
such as the British Columbia coastline and the Northern Labradors Torngat
Mountains. My final post has brought my family and I to the Quinte area of South
Eastern Ontario.
Working in many hospital emergency
rooms throughout Ontario, it soon became quite apparent that there is an ever-increasing
demand for Patient Transfer Services. The Quinte region, like many others, certainly
is in need of such a dedicated service and I look forward to serving this community
in the years ahead.
